BRAND PERSONALITY
TIMELESS / ADVENTUROUS / ROMANTIC / WELCOMING / GENUINE
Telling a story.
Branding that is the definition of storytelling.
When developing the Chuck & Shiloh brand strategy, it was important that we attracted not only couples who wanted outdoor, mountaintop elopements, but also those who desired a more traditional wedding as well. What all weddings have in common, big or small, quaint or wildly adventurous, is romance.
Something truly romantic is sharing letters. Stories of love and adventure, shared experiences and joyful moments, and these emotions are what Chuck and Shiloh capture through their work. To embody the idea of sharing love stories, the imagery of the stamp became the obvious choice for the new Chuck & Shiloh brand.
Capturing both the traditional and adventurous spirits alike, the final logo showcases a stamp with a mountain scene inside, which is also a βCβ and βSβ monogram for the photo and film couple.
A noteworthy feature.
Why the Chuck & Shiloh brand needed a mascot.
Chuck and Shiloh are willing to travel to all corners of the planet to capture authentic loves stories right where they happen. Oftentimes, in order to do so, they must bring along their beloved pup, Hoka.
With a willing couple, Hoka will tag along for weddings and elopements, and because of that, it was important that she was featured as a part of the branding itself. To spark conversation, to tell a little more of the Chuck & Shiloh story, and to make an introduction for herself before meeting the couples on their big day.
